Narrowing down possibilities for the book challenge, a couple of favourites so far are .....
"The Day my Bum Went Psycho"
That could have some very interesting interpretations ;)
Or my other favourite ....
"101 Uses for a Dead Cat"
I just need to kill a few cats for that one first ;)

You bring up an interesting point. Pretty much anything you can photo I'm pretty sure there's a book for it. Or does it have to be a best seller. 300 pictures of Harry Potter.

Hmmmm, take a photo you like and THEN find a book that matches it ... interesting twist *laugh*
I don't see it has to be a famous book at all, but I guess if people have heard of it it may help in the votes department. However, I think I may avoid something that people would think of as a film more than a book, although it would be perfectly within the challenge.
I actually have so many ideas, but lack the props for many of them.
Anyone know where I can find a white whale?

Here was a big problem about Still Life and cats. There is one possibility, when you can use a cat for a still life. You have to kill a cat before and then you can use it for a photo for example with vegetables on the table - this is classic.
Natator, did u think about it before last challenge?

D'oh!
Never thought of that Kinks *laugh*
Otherwise I might have gone with the other classic still life: "Pile of dead cats", the original was by Van Gough I believe.

this sorta sounds like the magazine cover shot challenge we did not long ago...I just hope people dont take points off for my book not being in portriate mode.

They certainly shouldn't James.
I don't see this challenge as being do a book cover, it is to represent the title of a book, and thus landscape/portrait should not matter.
Hope your entry goes well, I've yet to decide on mine and will attack it on the weekend.

Mine isn't going to be a cover (necessarily). But you're not going to trick me into revealing the winning title either! |

Either that or there will be at least one excellent photo of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre", or "Psycho".
(Yes, films, but lets assume they came from a book ;)
