Hi my fellow members,

Please forgive my weakness but tonight I need all my friends and everyone who cares to say a prayer for my son Cosie.

He had a massive seizure just before 1 this afternoon, with a period of at least 2 minutes without breathing, turning blue in the face and hands, lasting about 8 minutes. He then fell in a deep sleep, had 2 more within an hour and about an hour ago another bad one. That is 4 for the past 8 hours. Not much blood this time but he is not good.I am so powerless...

Please, a simple prayer from all over the world....

Thank you,

Peter

I pray for you and wish I could do more,
But more I cannot do from far away.
Like leaves before the wind we cannot stay,
Ripped dancing, dancing to the forest floor.
I wish I could your ailing health restore
And bring you to the strength of yesterday,
But all we mortal souls can do is pray
That God might alter what we have in store.
The beauty in our fragile life is love,
The only thing that makes the moment matter,
The golden thread that binds us all in light.
I wish, I wish I could your pain remove,
But like a wall the truth my will must shatter,
And so I send my prayers into the night.

I am sorry to hear this, I am keeping you and your son in my prayers.

Peter,

From one ex-Klerksdorper to another, and from one medico to another, - you and your son are in my thoughts.
I wish you strength, and him recovery.

My thoughts of peace and recovery are flying there way to you and yours.

I cannot imagine the grief you are feeling - powerlessness is every parents darkest nightmare - may yours be over promptly and light, hope and recovery come swiftly and permanently.

Until then - KNOW you are being gifted light and blessings from across the globe!

Prayers sent.

As an aside, with the duration and repetition of the siezures, I'd take him to the hospital, if he's not there already.

If the thoughts and caring of an online community have any power, all will be well very soon.
My heart goes out to you and your family; there's nothing more painful than watching your child suffer :(

Im am very sorry to hear this, please accept this poem, and ill keep praying for him!

I asked the Lord to bless you,
as I prayed for you today,
to guide you and protect you
as you go along your way.

His love is always with you.
His promises are true.
And when we give Him all our cares,
you know He'll see you through.

So when the road you're travelling on
seems difficult at best.
Just remember I am praying,
and God will do the rest.

(sorry i cant spell, and dont have time to check it thoroghly at the moment!)

Dear Peter,

You have not called out in weakness, but in strength of Faith. May the Lord lift you and Cosie up at this time and may His Grace bring you both peace and comfort. You are in our prayers.
