Yeah, I'm going to be picking up one of those little fisheyes. They may be small and cheap, but a lens is a lens, is a lens is a lens.

| I was scared to buy it at first because I was told it was a waste of a good shot, but it has worked out. I seem to find uses for it almost every time I am out. Clarity could definitly be better when shooting up close objects. The distance seems to mask some of the flaws of the lense. |

what does this lens look like?
i'm keen on a fisheye, but not keen on dropping $800 for a lens i'll get little regular use out of.
got a link or a pic?

It looks and feels like a real hunk of junk. But I like the fisheye ok, and the macro is sort of fun, but not sharp enough for the folks round these parts.

| I bought a fisheye-macro attachment via ebay recently - ~$30 - it's a Bower. I love the potential effects but it's miserable unusable - can't get a focussed shot close or far. Of course I'm forced to stick it on my Sigma 18-50mm which is already soft, so it's probably an additive effect. |
