ughhh.

so my camera turned off today, all by itself, while I was taking pictures. I didnt even realize at first, until it restarted and told me I had corrupted data (it turned off while I was shooting/writing data to card). and i checked, the on/off switch was firmly in the on position the entire time :-(

granted, this is first time this has happened, but my camera has been acting strange lately..sometimes it wont turn on (thaaat was scary), a lot of hot pixels even at low ISO, and there's at least two dead pixels I have found...

i know its time to upgrade soon...but i was hoping to wait at lest another year..shes only two years old and creeping close to 30000 clicks...

ugh, so basically, anyone ever had these problems???? repair? throw in the towl?

the card data is corrupted or the card is shot.
