Some people have commented that they are not sure about the desaturation on my day 2 image. Here it is without colour adjustments.

Finally, day 1 done. This little guy is new, so he will probably be making several appearances in this collection.
EDIT: Stupid me - I was deleting another picture from my folder and didn't realize I had the little square check on this one - the one with all the great comments - was removed. I uploaded a replacement.
Thanks to all who commented on the shot - and I'm truly sorry all your well thought out (and humorous) comments have been lost.

I would be doing this, but  jaded_youth never sent me the magnifying glass she promised me so I can do macros with my crappy little GW. So, blame her.

To be honest I alos did a digital art treatment on this and it wasn't very good:) but yea it will be a bit of both;>
and to gina's comment about it being soft: I know which is why i processed ti like i did, it made it better. I took 100 shots today and they almsot all stunk since I left my flash at home and had bad lighting all day.:( |

Chezzy Day 2 photo...
Nikon D200 and 200mm f4 with 100mm 2.8E reversed on it (aprox 2x).
SB-600 mainlight with SB-80DX background light.
It was raining outside so I though I'd do something funky in my studio.

This is my Day 2. I wanted to see just how much of the frame I could fill with a small every day object. Its a battery for my flash. This is an uncropped image handheld. ISO 1600, 1/30 shutter, f2.8 with the canon 100mm Macro lens. Minimal editing.

DARN IT! I misseed another one! Man, someone PLEASE drop me a PM when one of these bad boys come along again. I dont care what the theme is! Man, I have been looking to get going again on my fotog & I keep missing these bc I cant check the threads as often. On fact, someone just sign me up for one & lemme know! I dont care what it is (mostly) just wanna shoot.
