I figured when I saw the field of entries that this was going to be a challenge in which I really disagreed with the results, and I was right. My favorites for the most part achieved pastels by actually shooting pastels, as opposed to shooting whatever and badly overexposing it to fade the color. There's some desat, but I'm okay with that. With no disrespect intended for the winners (which are nice photos but not to my taste), here are my favorites, none of which cracked the top 10, and not even the top 20.

 Was my 1st placed image, came 2nd
 My 2nd place, came in 44th
 My 3rd place, came in 84th
 My 4th place, came in 106th
 My 5th place, came in 10th
