...if you stumbled upon a photo that finished in the 17th percentile of a basic ediiting challenge in December 2005, that the photographers notes said that they dodged & burned? Would you report it to the SC? Or would you just let it go, since it scored a 4.7 seven month ago?

the real question is...what would you do? You know the photo. Regardless of placement, do you think it is right?

Oh, heck, I'll jump in since you asked.

If I were on the SC, after all this time, and given the score, I'd probably do nothing but contact the photog and remind him to not do that again.

So, if I were you, that's what I'd do. It was probably an innocent mistake, meaning a lack of awareness about the rules.

The right thing to do would be to report it to SC. It may have been an innocent mistake as levy413 says, but it should not go unnoticed or it may lead to repetitions. Innocent mistakes need to be corrected too.

Yes, coolhar, given the current goingson re:Rikki, and the repeated requests from SC in that thread to report stuff, I suppose you're right.
