Just a fun little story.

We have some family over from Thailand and offcourse they want to see some interesting places in Holland.
So everybody visiting Holland wants to see the Tulips in The Keukenhof
I realy didn't want to go there, I lived most of my life between the bulb-fields and even worked in the Tulip industry in my school holiday's, so I don't feel the need to pay to see those flowers.

OK, So I didnt go, I just drove there, put them in front of the entrance and told them to call me when they where ready.

When I picked them up my son Thiery
told me he had shot some interesting photos (with his phone) and that is what I wanted to share:

He only took photo's of people with camera's and interesting white lenses, and then he asked me why some people would bring a Telelens, i.s.o a wide angle lens, or a macro lens.
He did not take pics of flowers, only those camera's (he had more of other people and other camera's but the Phone cam is crappy...)

So do I have a bad influence on my children?

No. It would have been worse if he'd come home with flower macros... :)

LOL... if anything you now have a bad influence on your wallet. It's always good to have children interested in photography. Now its up to you to keep the fire going and keep him interested. :)

I'd be proud that he was observant enough to notice more than just the flowers. I'll bet he concentrated on folks with big lenses to entertain you. I love that chimping shot he got, a nice catch!

He allready said that he wanted a new camera for his birthday in December..
The only thing I am worried about is that he wants to use it to pick up "hot chicks", he realy likes the "model photography stuff" I am doing...

One time he even stole a MSN messenger adres from one of my models (from my pc)
She is 15 and he's 13, so when she asked who he was he didnt dare to reply, he liked her but was afraid to talk to her haha...
And then, when I found out I grounded him for 3 day's and after those 3 day's he had to explain to me WHY I grounded him...
He replied, because I violated your trust... Lesson learned, but oh so difficult for me, I understand him, I was a boy once...

Hey, he has a good and expensive taste! Most of the photos are about white lenses... ;-) I have had a look around on PhotoZone.de - it looks like the 35-350L, but it's still not the one you are looking for, it has a different end.
