Won first place in my McGill Undergraduate Photo Society Annual Contest on the catagory of Play.
wOOt!!!
I won an awesome Lowepro notebook bag that has a detachable notebook bag. I'm just so happy because the pictures submitted to this competition were awesome. I was just happy to have had my submission selected to be judged!
Almost everything I've learned about photography I've learned here. Thank you DPC!

That's a totally awesome shot.
The first thing that hit my mind was that it was so soft, it looked almost like a watercolor, or a book cover for a story with a name like "Midsummer Night's Dream" (I was thinking of the fairies).
Then I scrolled down and saw your description.
Totally apt.
As a guy who often takes blurry and soft pictures (although significantly more crappy), it's nice to see an example of how this can be used to good effect to create an excellent picture. It's nice when it works out.
