Probably it's a question answered somewhere but I couldn't find the answer. My question is if I am allowed to crop a certain part of my shot and then for example fill it with black , talking about a BASIC EDITING challenge. I want my background to be black and I can't think of another way to do it. Thanks in advance!

no you can't fill it with black. you can apply levels or curves to the whole image though if it's close.
