It's not necessary to be redundant -- we understood you perfectly the first time!

Well, if Arizona is interesting you, I'll check with a few teachers I know...

Thanks. I actually applied in the Phoenix area. All of the replies I got back were "Get your AZ teaching certification before we'll even look at your application." I actually just got an email like that today.

SOme month ago I used to be a fitness/aerobic instructor, now seeing I got too much into photography I work as a professional photographer'S assistant. It is real fun - though it is sometimes boring to photograph socks for catalogs :-)

That doesn't make much sense (maybe cuz I'm not a teacher?) - that would make it pretty difficult for any teachers who want to move here, but can't until they have a job. Now I'm curious - I think I'm still going to ask my teacher friends next time I see any of them.

Anyone know where they're hiring elementary school teachers? I hear about this huge need for teachers, but I can't seem to find a job anywhere near an area I'd want to work.

CNC programmer. Feels strange to call myself a programmer when I really copy other peoples drawing in Autocad. I do dabble in a bit of VB tho now and then when I get a bright idea.
I simply draw shapes (flanges, brackets, odd plates, signs, etc) and a laser will cut em out of steel or plastic or rubber or wood or...except glass.
Hadnt heard of it until I got the job and have been doing it for a little over 2 years and its my first job and bludging now so I have to go.

I was laid off from Sierra Online, a video game development company over a year and a half ago. Since then I have been trying to survive as freelance graphic artist and fine artist. Very tough to do but a lot of fun.

I'm a certified school counselor for pregnant and parenting teens in a local school district. Let me tell you, it's like having 50-some-odd teenage daughters. No wonder the Almighty saw it fit to give me three sons of my own! :o)
