I was hoping someone might help me find some photos of Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am moving there from California in January and would like to see some images from there or for anyone to give me some info about the area. Thanks.

DONT DO IT DUDE!! LOL. Just kidding. I live less than an hour from there, and while the shopping is great, there's not much to look at. I actually do have a pic of a building there, but let me see if I have some bigger pics. I'll get back with you on that. :)

Ok, as sad as it is as a photo, here is my one and only photograph of GrandRapids, or a building IN grand rapids, I should say. I DID have some of the mall, but think they got lost.
MY PIC

You can also go to mlive.com and get info and news, and pictures too.
Hope you like snow! Started a few days ago.

So. You drew the short straw, huh. Most of us are trying to escape this place in the winter (at least those of us with no use for that white stuff - no Cannonsburg season passes at my house)but you've decided January would be a great time to move into the tundra. ;) The high this week is to be about 45'F Actually Grand Rapids is ok. It's a very conservative area - but some outlying areas can be worse. It's got something for everyone anyway. However, gas is about $1.54/gal - so not sure if that'll be better or worse for you. Bi-polar will be something you'll get familiar with. In anycase - welcome! :)

I was thinking of submitting a completely white frame, but I think you got the idea across...

I think Cannonsburg is a pretty good place to ski, but I prefer going a little closer to hbunch and skiing Timberidge.

Baaaahahahaha! I had to actually go look that up, cause I didn't reckalect any mountains in Michigan! There's a 700' hill, though at
Wisconsin's Largest and Tallest Ski Area. ;-)

ok ok ok, so we have to make all of our slopes, but did you see the movie "Aspen Extreme"? (I think that's the title anyway). They said they learned on Mt. Brighton, right near where I live. It's a joke because Mt. Brighton SUCKS! It's a little baby hill covered in ice. So no, not the greatest skiing in Michigan, but it's better than none imo.
