Unfortunately I couldn't get to the zoo during the challenge but I went today armed with my camera. Animals certainly aren't my strong point so any comments would be really appreciated :)



And I took this one showing a complete lack of penguins!

I think I like the bat picture the best. Great clarity on that shot and very original.

Well, the expression of the lion is really interesting. But I think the light was caught in a very very drammtic way in the bat photo! It's really excellent! well done

Some great captures there! The pose of the meercat is classic, but I really like the way you've post-processed it. Did you see the baby gorilla? I guess it isn't such a baby anymore - I went about 2 months ago when it was a week old - a little cutie ;-)

I did see the baby! It was getting a hug from its mum, so cute! It's still really tiny :) I couldn't get a decent photo though cos it was quite dark where they were hiding in the corner :) There are lots of baby chameleons there at the moment too, only a week old :)
