ROFL! Reading the DPC Enquirer is better than sex. Well, for my wife, anyway.
I was honoured to get the chance to write for a scoop, and probably could have come up with more material, but Ken only gave me a very short notice, by design or accident, I don't know. ;-)
To make matters worse, my already hectic Saturday schedule was made worse when part of my chimney broke off, rolled down our roof, and went through the neighbor's window, just missing her head! My post-seven-year-old-daughter's-birthday-party nap-time was nixed for a trip to the Home Depot for supplies to temporarily fix the neighbor's window and a trip up onto the roof to pull off loose bits of chimney and shore up the rest of it with chicken wire. That's what we get for hiring a cheap mason ten years ago. Now we'll have to hire a decent one to do a proper job which means $$$ and a setback to my dreams of a dSLR.
But somehow reading the DPC Enquirer makes it all OK.
