As I read the rules that apply to photography posted to this site, I am wondering if there may ever be a challenge where unlimited digital editing would be allowed? Since everyone here is using digital cameras and using software to prepare their photos, I would love to see some of the creativity these people are capable of... I think it would be fun to allow some added creativity maybe once or twice ;)

Editing an image can't be a challenge? Photoshop is fun? Could you elaborate?

I do admit that I like the site the way it is, with limits on its post processing, BUT I wouldn't mind seeing a "special" anything goes challenge infrequently... even just once or twice. Just my 2 pence.

It'd also be nice to know about it mroe than a week in advance such that we have time to fully prepare the image...

I think it is a great idea, it would broaden the scope a little allowing more creativity than just photograpy alone will permit. To be honest the thought of putting a picture on a computer ( a wonderful tool with endless possibilites of creativity and self expression ) and not adding to it or using it to further convey an idea, thought or emotion is kindof selling yourself short. Please consider it and see some of the amazing things that were before impossible.
