Wow, the quality of the pictures in this challenge is outstanding! It's either that or I have an insane weakness for buildings! Simply amazing!

And so is the new voting page!

Ditto.

And the voting page is now sorted too. Woohooo!!!! Guess I'll have to stay up another hour to carefully go through my votes.

A couple of other things. Since correcting for vertical distortion is not an allowed edit, I suggest that you all don't knock off to much points for images with such distortions.

Secondly, if and when you comment on you votes please let the photographer know how the picture makes you feel, in addition to comments about composition. I know sounds it's odd, but composition isn't the only thing that makes a good photograph. A good picture often evoke some feelings in us that draws us to it. It is good for the photographer to know & practice this aspect of picture taking.

I'm very pleased with the architecture challenge. I can now hardly believe I expected boring shots. I think this is the best set of photos so far on dpchallenge.

I was really surprised at the number of good shots this time. The quality of photos is definitely getting better. Thanks for redesigning the voting page, too.

Don't forget the new profile page too. :)

I was really impressed by the photos in this challenge. Perhaps, like Mousie, I have a weakness for buildings, too - but there are a few photos that were submitted that I think are some of the best photos I've seen on this site so far. Outstanding work, all around.

The new profile and voting pages are great. Langdon and Drew are doing some excellent work with the site, especially when it comes to working with the user feedback to better the site. Thanks, guys!

It's so true! Not only is the site well written and maintained, the excellent job they do responding to users is as much of a selling point as anything else here. How would you stick that on a resume?

On a resume, I think I'd put something like:
"Consistently sought user-feedback, rapidly implemented requested features, and returned for further advice, which resulted in a visible level of excitment about and increased use of features."

...but I'm long winded.

Found it really hard to judge this time - so many good pics.

I just finished voting, and I agree, AMAZING! I love this challenge! I love building shots (my favorites!) Everyone should be very proud of themselves on this one, great work!

Also thanks for the new voting page, it is very helpful to be able to fine tune the votes!
