I really am haveing a problem here, not many people are putting in enough of "waldo" for it to fit the challenge for me. I think you need at least a full head, alot of people got way to close and hid an eye in something. Mabey I am being a shovenist, but if it doesn't have enough of waldo in it then it doesn't get over a 5 from me, and most comenly a one from me

Ouch, I think you just voted on my WALDO entry! Well, I took the photo using my understanding of the challenge. As I recall, the actual "Where's Waldo" books usually had HUNDREDS of characters in the drawings, with Waldo hidden there amonst them, wearing that red and white striped cap. Probably all of the entries are going to be just a little bit different than that, wouldn't you expect?

We used to read those with my kids. It's been a while.

As I recall, and my family pointed out as I was planning, Waldo is always right there for you to find him. It would have been easy to make Waldo so small in the pic he is impossible to find or recognize. In the books, he's there, you just have to look around the picture to find him.

As I pointed out in another thread, Waldo is clearly visible in two of the three ribbon winners last time! Waldo shouldn't be a dot in the far distance. It's ok if he's somewhat difficult to find, but he should be easy to see if once you know where he/she is.

Now that's a standard I can personally live with! But please don't think that I'm upset with gi_joe for using a standard that seems right to him. It all evens out. Although I will add that I hope he is leaving comments on those "most commonly ones" he's dishing.

I think that is the standard I went with.
