I'm curious to see how everyone else is doing with their scores in this challenge, seeing all the debates on what constitutes implied lines.

I made a dumb mistake. I processed my entry on my laptop and submitted at the last second. The problem is, my laptop LCD makes the image look way different than my regular CRT monitor on my main system. I made it look good on the laptop, but on the CRT there is too much contrast and the colors are too saturated.
Anyway, my goal now is to just beat my current best score of 5.618. I'm really close right now.

I'm at 6.4287 right now.. it's been up and down all day.. but like others say, it's still *way* too early to tell..
but I have a feeling that I'm pretty close to where I'll finish now.

Interesting because this image was at 6.4 until most recently when the expert voters entered and chopped it down to size. And yet, this is an image with both literal and implied lines and they bite your face when you look at it. I mention this because a lot of people have reported their scores coming down. |

Yup, I've suddenly dipped to just 9.345 mark from a high of 9.8986 - so it certainly looks like voters are a bit miserly with the ratings on this one.

| instead of looking at the photo itself and evaluating it as such and then give feedback, i'm sad to say, some so-called feedback is rude and surely does not belong here. what happened to tolerance and constructivity? yip, i'm not doing well and i accept it as such, but surely if you can not think of something constructive to say, keep your feed back to yourself. i think creativity has many faces and should challenge the status quo. 4.2 to me is great, just not the remarks(can not be called feedback). |

I am not doing too well. Not surprising, the picture was taken and submitted in great haste, and against my better judgement (I realized I wouldn't give it more than a 5 myself :(( ). So it's sitting at 4.53 right now.
Never never again, will I submit a picture solely for the cheap thrill of having something to update. |

After two days of steadily dropping from a high of 6.2 something to a low of 5.8404, we climbed back (barely) into the 6's. |
