I am looking at all these pictures ... and hardly any of them are meeting the challenge criteria... most of them have no people at all in them. Am I just being totally fooled by great shots or was there just a general misunderstanding of the challenge rules ?

I found someone in about every photo. The ones that I thought weren't really in the challenge criteria were the ones with people as the central subject. I had fun searching for someone hidden in the photo.

This is the fewest pictures which I have marked in a challenge but it has taken me the longest.
Some were funny, others creative and some I just didn't get at all. It was clearly a good challenge but difficult to mark. Maybe it should have been based on technique used ie misdirection, or subtle camouflage. I treated those that were obviously or deliberately hidden harshly in the marking because it is just too easy to hide someone deliberately. Sorry to anyone who came off badly in my scoring and feel free to shoot me down if I missed your point.

I didn't submit to the Waldo challenge, so this doesn't affect me, but ... wasn't the point to hide person?

I have a person in my photo, and I think it is pretty obvious. I showed it to some of my friends and they found person in a few seconds. Now I get comments, that is very hard to find person, and few told me that there is no person. How is that possible? You can see whole person, not standing in the dark, it is just not main subject of the photo. Please, look harder for person.

I think the point he was making is that some people hid people inside buildings, so they cannot be seen, and others almost completely cropped the person out of the picture.

Some of the people are so small you really need a magnifying glass to see them.
