Got to always love votes in these types of challenges, quite expected.

I assume this is the tread for the "Abstract Street Photography" challenge?????

Wow........ this really surprised me.

I didn't like ANY of the images very much, because I'm sorry, but they just weren't my cup of tea, so to speak.

However, I am a VERY keen believer in the DPC challenge idea, and meeting the challenge means a lot to me.

So, in keeping with my principles, I voted on this challenge according to my idea of how well an image met the challenge, and NOT according to how much I enjoyed viewing each photo.

And my result was this...... wow........:

Stats: You have rated 35 of 35 images (100%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 6.3143.

First four votes produced an average score around 7.55. Excited and pleased to see that territory, even if only briefly. Subsequent gradual drop is as expected, so I am posting current status before the score sinks further down. Long way to the final outcome, but nice to start out this way.

the variety of abstraction is not strained: it falleth everywhere.

... it droppeth (my score that is) as the (not so) gentle rain...

Very quiet here in this thread. Slow downward drift of scores can put quite the damper on things. Now my score has gone down below 6.5 (which is not all that bad compared to some of my entries in other challenges, but a long way from where it started). Quite the persistent downward slide, apparently also seen by others.

The final results depend on relative ranking rather than absolute score. But it would definitely feel nice to have a change of direction to perk us all up. Any Jedi masters out there who can get the low voters to modify scores higher? Or who can get the potential voters lurking on the sidelines to come to the rescue with high numbers blazing? Hurry Obi-Wan, we need you.
