It's been a hard choice. I always thought a Sony full frame mirrorless camera had to be in my future. They are expensive and until now I had no chance of buying it. At the beginning of the year I thought A7RII was my best choice. Then I changed my mind: I mainly work with video, and even if it has 'only' 12 mpx, I decided to buy an A7SII. What can I say: super super ISO are absolutely real - I can take photos even at 102,000 ISO. Stabilization allows you to shoot handheld videos like you were using some sort of gimbals or stuff like that. Nikon D750 is ok, but A7SII creates light where there is no light at all :)

I am envious. I look forward to seeing what you can do with it Alex.

Thanks guys.

I am very impressed with low light video files. It seems that there is no evident difference between ISO 800 and ISO 6400... too good to be true :D

Hmmm... I can't even do 800 ISO on my 7D without having too much noise. :(

ISO 51,200

I was impressed - I can't imagine needed to use 51,200 so often, but it was good to know I can if I need to.

First edited shots with A7SII. Colors are stunning and I can't stop taking pictures with it. And video... guys, that's really impressive, even for me that I'm also using a cinema camera (FS700):

Check out the video in this link. Shot at ISO 25,000. I personally wouldn't want to stick my camera on a drone, but glad someone did :)

Stay away from the A7R II if you want it for video. Ive read stories about this thing over heating, shutting down and losing everything it recorded.

Plenty of colleagues with A7S and A7SII and no problems at all. Of course they are new cameras and they absolutely need to be more reliable. As for me, D750 with a broken shutter after 18K shots, so no one can be safe with new gear lately...
