Woke up with 5 votes at 5.6.
5 votes later I was at 6.6.
5 votes later I was 5.8667
I'm getting tired of watching this.

Abstract challenges, from what I remember, are notorious for wild swings in voting and generally a low ribbon score.

Eta mine is 5.9 after a 6.6 start and some swings both ways.

I like my entry but the voters think it sucks. Maybe I'll get a comment too:)

Was steady at 5.0 and now this. I like my entry, too. Perhaps a bit rushed, but I do like it.

Amazing little spat of hatred last night. So perplexed by the schizophrenia.

My theory is that we're dealing with the different definitions of abstract. My vote tracker shows a 1 followed by a 10. I remember other threads where some people think that abstracts can't be recognizable. Some think they can.

I honestly don't know whether mine can be considered abstract. But it was fun doing it. :)

5.7

The intriguing thing is that I have more votes for Abstract than I do for both Window Light and the FS, which end sooner.

I agree on your assessment regarding the definition of "abstract" to the voter. I suspect that many might not even be able to define it other than "I know it when I see it".

It's not easy to vote on abstract images like Wendy said people have different definitions for what an abstract image is. When we have these abstract challenges I find that close to 1/3 of the people just submit blurry images. Maybe it's not just the voters that don't understand abstract.

5.8182 at the moment.
