| I did resurrect "Team Discovery". Some (most) former members have moved on. A few remain. The free agent pool is rich in talent. I've sent invitations to good people. We'll see if a team can be assembled. Should be fun and educational. |

I should add, its pretty easy to get selected to my team. Just PM me with a team name, the top ones will get selected to my team, and the best will get chosen.
to those who already PM'd me, just reply with a team name suggestion.
ETA and im looking for people who will be committed to this, I'll have quite a bit of time this summer and I expect to push myself. I'd like teammates that will push me and themselves.

I have to say, its really great seeing some of the older screen names reappear in the free agent pool and this thread.
So glad that  Langdon and the Site Council decided to bring back the DPL. |

| I fired up my old team... Our name was Visual Communication... I'm not sure who here is left from the original group, but here's the deal. Last DPL I started this team with the idea that the focus was more on learning from one another than necessarily winning. I wanted a team where people could participate, but not feel pressured to score well. So if you are a beginner who is intimidated, or you are more advanced and love to teach and help others, perhaps this is the team for you... The only thing I ask of you is that you participate... Last DPL we went 1-4, but everyone who participated walked away a better photographer... So with that, if you want an invite, just P.M. me and I'll send you one... |

I figure people I invite are treating it like when I asked someone to the prom. Waiting to see if they get a better offer before committing! :)
