I came across a really, really good deal on some lenses that the camera I plan on getting, this pro was selling all of his stuff because he invested in newer much more expensive lenses.
He was selling his prime lenses super cheap so I picked up 4 of them so now all I need is the body now. Super Excited, but I am waiting as I am finishing my learning photography courses first.

My question is about the macro stuff because I really want to get into it.

I have purchased a 28mm Macro, I also have purchased a 135 telephoto prime with macro on it as well, I found extension tubes which I have purchaced on Ebay and I even found a ring light as well that a friend was just throwing away so I grabbed that just in case and it will work with the camera and lenses I have for it. Or do I have everything I need?

I am not sure if I need anything else? What am I missing for things I will be needing for shooting macro?
I figure I might as well start collecting a few things that I need now while the prices are very good and I just don't want to miss out on anything.

Suggestions?

Is the ring light a flash? I believe most of the super close-up shots on here with the punchy colors and extreme detail were lit with a ring flash or a hotshoe flash with diffuser of some kind.

Working with extension tubes is a bit of a pain, the range of focus you can achieve is very small as opposed to a macro lens that goes all the way from super-close-up to infinity focus.

Like, a few millimeters small, when you use the long tube or stack them.

Sorry guys..

yes, I believe it is the flash as well, I don't know anything about it or even how to use them yet, but will learn when I get the new camera in a few mo...
I am still on downtime and going through the courses yet, so it will give me time to do more learning in the mean time. I am itchy to try these lenses though LOL

I will be upgrading to a Pentax K-3, that has everything I been wanting in a camera especially about being "cold proof" and the lenses are outstanding and very reasonable for my budget the best part! Only lens I would wish to get would be my main eagle telephoto 1000mm one..

Details:
Ring light flash, No model yet, I am picking that up from my friend this weekend
