Sadly passed away today. A fantastic photographic career, she photographed some real icons over the years. Her portrait of Samuel Beckett is one of my favourite portraits of anyone ever.
(Ah, if someone could change the auto-correct typo in the title that would be great, cheers. It's Bown not Brown of course.)

It is isn't it. As much as any portrait of Beckett could illustrate him this is it. It even captures that touch of playfulness and humour that he has. I think so anyway. |
