| I've had successful images here that have left me somehow unsatisfied and I've had unsuccessful images that I still look on as my best work, I would like to think that from now on I'm only going to satisfy my own creativity and not look for the majority's approval, it won't be easy not striving after blue though but I'll give it a go. I didn't participate in this challenge but all of the comments were very welcome, I thank everyone involved, cheers. |

Very early on here i realized how hard it will be for me to take home a ribbon, given my particulars of time available and lack of an 'artistic' eye.
i have very much appreciated when people took the time to comment on my images and I enjoy learning about myself in commenting on images of others - i've stated that a long time ago - and I was thrilled to see this side challenge that Don put up.
My two favorite images that I have entered here have been ones where I receive feedback that people 'got' my entry - one is my best scoring (fight hobophobia) and one was very much a shoe-horn joke entry (sink-o de mayo) - both of these were also my top-commented-on images (prior to my entry in the Novel challenge).
i'd love to see people spend more time on voting and less on making sure they even vote 100% (personally). |

24 DPC'ers signed up for this tough job. To get full value, please take the time to read through (say) 24 images's comments.
It is so interesting, instructive, and left me with a range of new insights on the process and the people.
