Is it possible to get Topaz to work with LR5? How do I go about to get it done? Darn, it is soooooooooo frustrating to be stupid!
Please help? Where is the Pappa Bear and the Cory Bear when I need them?

You need to have Topaz Fusion, a free product from their website, then their plugins integrate with LR5.

Yes..what Richard said. Also, when new Topaz plugins come out, or updated versions you will often have to download the latest Topaz Fusion as well and install it again otherwise you might find it won't see the latest and greatest or even not work at all. Don't panic...just update Fusion.

Come, come, shake the hand of a smart man, yip me!. Goodbye Photoshop, I tried and I tried. Now please go catch bumble bees or fleas. LR5 and Topaz, that is what I need.
And do not forget to bow to the two men who advised me; Robt the Bear (alias Richard Sheesh) and Dave.

Processed my rain entree. Can not show yet! What a pleasure. Over time I got more skilled with LR, and then fell in love with Topaz. Now I can have my cake and eat it!
Thank you again.

So just to clarify....

Richard Sheesh lives in Cape May

and

Robert Ward lives in Cape Cod

and never the two shall meet. Unless there is a GTG somewhere midway between the Capes. ;)

Well, no...it shouldn't happen, but honestly I've had to reinstall my suite a couple of times in the past after an upgrade. Don't know why that happens, but i've seen it.

What kind of errors are you getting when you go to launch Topaz plugins in Photoshop now?

Dave

Hey Dave,
A couple of the Topaz plugins seem to be unaffected, Remask doesn't work at all (I click on it and it won't open at all), and Simplify gives me some sort of error message. I might have to delete all of them and reinstall. What a pain. Plus I'm also now getting that darned C++ error. After hitting Cancel about 20 times, PS opens, but still....
