So, the title of this thread should be changed to...NOT making the switch from Olympus to Canon.

I hope you enjoy it! I've been very happy with my E-P2 and love the micro 4/3 stuff. So easy to carry around and the image quality is pretty good. You get some nice upgrades like swivel and touch screen along with better image stabilization. I'm planning to upgrade to the OM-D EM5 or the next generation.

Oh such a smart move :D Too bad we don't live closer - I could show you what I've learned so far. I guess we'll have to use FB.

Congrats and ENJOY!

Thanks! I didn't really want to switch. I've been shooting with an Olympus since 1980. I've never had to have any repairs!

You won't regret it.
I sold all my Canon gear (7d, 60d, lenses and flashes) and now carry 2 OMD EM5's. Have a new lens lineup and a couple of flashes. All sooooo much lighter and the image quality is amazing.

Best thing I ever did. Absolutely love this camera

Oh...you are going to love the OMD! This camera is wonderful, and the new axis system allows you to hand hold the camera and get shots you never thought possible! Video too! There are some great bargin fast lens too to be had and enjoyed...all in a small package you will want to carry everywhere! Please share your thoughts and photos with us!!

Every time someone mentions OMD, I think about the band.

Colorcarnival and Hipychik. We can do this GTG thing. We're really not all that far apart. Let's plan something.
