I'm sorry I have not updated the December standings. I will shortly because I am having to do it manually.

About three days ago my hard drive crashed and even though I had all my files saved on a backup 1TB drive, when I went to do a factory restore it could read the bad #1 drive and formatted my #2 backup drive. So I lost all files and what hurts the most, I lost 8 years of photos and countless scanned photos from my family. About 15000 photo gone.

I do have the FSM backed up on Google, I just can't run the Excel macro that Kirbic provided me any longer because I lost that. Over the next few days I will be updated each FSM member manually and checking the year for any DQ'ed photos that may effect the FSM results.

Look for the final standings to be posted by the end of January and I will get with the top 3 about there gift cards.

Thanks everyone for participating.

Oh GOLLY, Scott!

I think you should give it up!

It's just too much.

I'd say you should go "Scott Free" for sure!

I'm hoping you are able to get all of your personal images back at least!

I am so sorry to hear this Scott. I am not even close to a IT person but I think there may be a way to recover what was on the hard drives.

As for you apologizing please don't you have enough on your plate and we can all wait. Hang in there Scott! Oh and THANK YOU for all you do!

Aw, good grief. It never rains but it pours :-(

ETA: that's meant to be sympathetic. Don't worry about the FSM, that's incidental...

That is just so sad Scott. Don't stress about the FSM, you already have enough to worry about. Perhaps some IT experts might be able to recover your photos. Don't give up.

I think we all understand how devastating it can be to lose a lot of data like you have. Please don't go out of your way to do the FSM thing. I hope you get back all of your files, especially the family items.

The format usually does not wipe out the content, but only some tables, including those describing the files' names and location on the drive. I would try an undelete program to see if it can recover some if not most of the files.

edit for typo.

Don't give up on me guys and gals. I had a hard time trying to retreave data. And doing it manually has been a nightmare.
I sent kirbic a PM asking a favor to see if he could create me a quick macro that would pull just decembers 2012 scores. I waiting on him to get back with me.

Sorry it's taking so long. I went to the doctor for my follow up on the 23rd and was given good results. But a day latter my uncle passed. Been a crazy January. Hope February starts looking up.

As soon as I get the results I will post and get with the top three winners.

Thanks for understanding.

Scott.

I have sent SC and langdon a request to see if they could get me a copy of all participants average on January 1, 2012. If they can I will be able to complete the 2012 season of the FSM and award the prizes to the top 3.

Thanks everyone for you understanding. I'm trying everything to retrieve the data.

THE FOLLOWING IS A COPY OF THE TICKET I SENT TO SC AND LANGDON:

Langdon or SC.
Is there a way to get a particular members dpc average score for an exact date ( January 1, 2012).

I lost all FSM information due to a hard drive crash in December. I have everything I need to run December 2012 results and finalize the 2012 season of the FSM. However, I need to know the dpc average score of the 122 participants on January 1, 2012 so that the "I-points" can be awarded correctly.

I offered the top three Gift Cards from B&Hphoto and I must have accurate information to determine the winners.

I have an obligation to the members to award there prizes but can't do so unless I can get there dpc averages from that date.

If the SC or langdon has a way of pulling this information it would be great. I have a list of all USER_ID#.

Please reply and let me know if there is anything you maybe able to help me with.

Thanks,
Scott Whiddon
