OK I have recently upgraded from a 20d to a 60d and as always my remote won't work with the 60d...Anyway I have found This one and want to know if anyone has used this particular one or have suggestions for a better one.

I use this and it can work as an off camera trigger for a flash or a remote trigger for the camera. It doesn't feature the bulb or timer options of the one you posted though.

heres an alternate approach if youre also considering buying wireless triggers or have ones that support it, a pre-trigger wire!

Use pretrigger cable and remote control using said trigger.

edit: yea basically what mark said.

It's not a fancy one, but I've used one similar to this one for several years now (first on the XTi, now on the 60D). Mine is even more "no-name" than this Bower one. I think I paid about 5 bucks and it's worked just fine. I use it when I'm shooting waterfalls. I tried a wired release, but kept forgetting about it as I was setting up the shots, so the release got dragged through the water too many times.

I can vouch for that one as well. I have one and it works great. For time lapse, get a cable remote - I got a cheap one on ebay which works fine, but there is no way to shut off the display, so I have to remove the battery when not in use. Still it was around $25 or so and it has all kinds of timed settings.

I have had a Canon RC-1 for about 6 years, I just had to change the battery a month ago. I first had used it with my old Rebel XT and it works as well with my 7D (and your 60D). No fancy timer or intervalometer or anything, but simply an immediate or 2 second delay.

One of the best things about it is that it clips onto the neckstrap. You cannot forget it, as it is always with your camera. It has since been replaced by the RC-5 and 6, but they don't have the same narrow design that makes it hardly noticeable on the strap (it is about as wide as your finger).
