If you love it, it's your creation. What the rest of us think does not matter a hill of beans.
However, sometimes, the post-challenge critiques can open our eyes to things we might have missed.
This is from William Goldman, a highly successful author and screenwriter, and while this is about writing, it applies to all art, IMO...
"Anyone who wants to be a script writer had better learn to have thick skin. You'd better learn it. Kill all your darlings when you write. So many young writers can't do that. They say, 'No, this is my favorite thing, I love this,' but you have to be able to kill anything if it's not working." |

| i always look forward to post challenge critiques, they don't come around often enough. i hope people didn't get scared away from commenting with all the recent happenings. i will definitely be looking forward to post challenge critiques for this one. |

And it's not even an outtake from my spidery bokeh sessions! Good thing I had it entered a few days ago; I am one of the many in northern VA still without power :-(. So no voting till later in the week. I can't drain the battery on my phone and its precious mobile hotspot that long :::sigh::: |

Wow, so you are one of the faces to the power outage we have been hearing on the news. Hope you get it back really soon. I have been there, done that, and now we have a whole house generator. |
