Actually, it was ALWAYS about the score. Otherwise, this could have been a side-challenge where everyone just rattled off a shot/image and mailed it to Dallas without the guise of a challenge.

The theme was a good cause. The challenge was about scoring. As always.

I gotta disagree with you there, although I can't speak for everyone... The challenge for me, was to make a little boy smile... If the voters liked it, great, if they didn't, great... Didn't matter either way.

I can tell you that for many challenges, for me at least, its not about score... I'm here to learn, that's what most challenges are about for me. I'd rather finish with a 4.5 and learn something, than finish with a 6.0 and come away with nothing. Maybe I'm in the minority but that's how I've approached this site....

No need to apologize... I totally get where you're coming from and after I suggested it, I became concerned that his favorite image could be Disqualified because its an official challenge. After all, there have already been 3 DQ's, so yeah, I definitely see what you mean...

Lost a 10 during scrubbing... went from 2nd best to 3rd best on my list.
