Hi Everyone,
We just finished our first iPad app, and it occured to me... why hasn't DPC got an app for the iPad? It's perfectly suited to that medium. An app that could show the latest challenge winners, update challenge results, etc. What do you guys think? Perhaps it's just as good as an iPad web page maybe. Does anyone use DPC on an iPad?

i tend to check forums and score on ipad and my entry first thing in the morning on my ipad and have voted once or twice on it, but if it scrolled like ipad iphone did id be more tempted to use it and if photos were full screen for voting it would be better. i tend to vote on my 17" mbp and sometimes plugged into 42" HD LCD to do the photos justice.
but voting full screen with score overlay on tap would be cool then scroll with finger swipe.
i also use the ipad to check my photo looks ok on other screens, think it would be good as you could have a new image bit for non challenge entries onto portfolios etc.
i just got into using pixelsync to review photos on my aperture library on my ipad its a little luxury to sit in the bath and pick which images i want to edit etc hehe |

great idea. i'd be totally up for a DPC app. Voting, viewing, forum... that would make a great app

+1 just got an ipad and think it would be very useful
Perhaps we should head on over to the GetSatisfaction page since that's where suggestions for developments should go.

| Just star'd the API for developers suggestion on getsatisfaction, which is a requirement for android/ipad/iphone/other apps to be able to effectively communicate with the dpchallenge website. So if you want dpchallenge apps, go there and star it :) |
