Well, I'm not sure if this has been done before, but I'm going to start it either way. I think most of the people on this site work long hard hours. We have very stressful lives. I myself have a 6 week old baby and a full time job that keep me busy all hours of the day. Having said that, they leave me very little time to vote and comment. I was inspired to start this thread after seeing all the voting and commenting going on in the Best of 2010 challenge.
So I wanted to start a thread thanking those who go out of their way to vote and comment. I'm not going to mention any names in particular as to not leave anyone out, but you know who you are. You spend countless hours on here voting, commenting, and critiquing, and I really wanted to stop and say, "THANK YOU!!!" I feel like you are all the glue who hold this site together, at least for me. That is because I rely on this site for critique, and I feel like I constantly receive it... without really being able to give much back... Don't get me wrong, when I have free time I do vote and comment, its just that free time for me is extremely hard to come by...
So I started this thread.. THANK YOU... For everything... and if you want to thank someone specific in this thread, by all means, thank away... Lets all show some appreciation for all of those who help make this site great! Next time you get a comment, good or bad, and you felt it was so helpful that you not only wanted to check the box, but you wanted to write about it... Thank them Here! |
