This is a short lived hello,.. well until April that is.

Name is Tyler. I am a soldier for my day job and do hot rod photography on the side to earn some spare cash. I got into it because I have been building hot rods with my Pop since I was old enough to hold his beer. I got into photography because my Mom used to travel the country with a dark room in a brief case. I learned using her old 35mm and developing film in our cellars bathroom until high school when I got my hands on my first digital camera.

Started out by taking pictures while going on adventures to the mountains, beach or city and of my Pop's hot rods. Eventually his friends wanted me to take pictures of their hot rods and thats how I fell into doing photography as a side job. I am always looking to be critiqued and other photographers to learn from. I love to read and study while learning everything I can about anything. If you have any suggestions on great photographers, different techniques or ways I can gain knowledge and skill PLEASE! by all means PLEASE share!

Anyways, I am about to go to the field for three months to play soldier in the woods so I look forwards to getting more involved when I get back. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

If it's permitted, take lots of pictures and post them here when you get home.

Welcome! Love to see some of your hot rod photography, too.

This bit of training it is not but later on I will with other bits. It will be strange not having my camera on me. My older bro got me a contour HD helmet cam for Christmas so I am going to try and wear it on a jump this summer.
