You're talking to the new part-owner of the shrine at Delphi, but that's not what I'm waiting for today :-)

its gotta be one of these (for Canon of course):
Opteka 500mm f/8 Preset Telephoto Lens

because this lens is of such obviously high quality that of course Bear would be excited!

Really starting to wonder what it actually is though.

And we have a WINNER! Jotaga slips in at the checkered flag with a correct guess. First picture, ISO 400, f/2.8, 1/20 second, image stabilized:

Yessssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!!!

=D

I checked your equipment and noticed that your macro is was an EF-S. So, considering that you have FF and cropped cameras, the guess just came on my mind...

Soooooo happy here!!

Congratulations on your new toy!! I have the old version and love it!!

Frankly, I'm amazed you're the only one that figured it out :-) Now, the question is, what can your "prize" be?

That´s up to you Robert... The thrill of guessing it right worth a prize itself (like winning a ribbon here)...

... If you allow me to suggest... you could give me some tickets for private post processing consulting... that would be really nice...

... but, again, that´s up to you...

That's actually what I was going to suggest, but I didn't want to seem presumptuous; not everyone cares for the way I process images :-)

Consider it done. Use me as a resource for a while.

I actually thought it that may be it, I have no idea why I didn't post it. Congrats jotaga!

I too checked your equipment list and noticed you didn't have an "L" lens between 40 and 70mm. Even though the Tamron SP AF 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di for Canon you list is a very good lens, I was guessing you were fill the gap with a "L" lens since you had a FF camera.

Ooooo, 100 L IS Macro... nice! I'm jealous!

pffft...I was WAY off - I was thinking Droid Incredible - the delivery date for mine is June 18. Congrats on the new lens, I rather be having that delivered!
