| Help me understand the weekly scoring. Am I correct in believing that it is the top five scores from that weeks challenges as expressed as a percentage, which are averaged to determine who wins? |

| Top 5 percentiles for each team (from 5 different team members), averaged to give the teams average percentile. |

How much do the votes and the scores that you get from others affect the final judgments?
Does it go by how many votes you have or does it go by the total % of the scores people give you or is that just what others think about your photos?
Is there a final judge or panel that decides the final say or do they override what is given?
I am still trying to understand how all this works lolol |

It doesn't work at all right now, it's not currently happening. If and when a league starts up this year, it will all be explained in detail at that time. |

how do members 6 and 7 fit in are they like regular members or are they used only if needed for the 5 different team member scores on a given week
eg member 1 thru 5 have no entries that week

| As many team members should submit as possible. The top four scores (one/team member) for each team are used to compare with the top four of the competing team to see which team wins the match. |

Top 5 scores count...when you have 7 members it really helps. In the past the scores were by actual score 6.567 not by %...WPL & TPL used the % not actual score. |

| I think it's going to be changed back to the top four scores with the smaller team size -- the number was five when the maximum team size was ten. |

| I thought it was the top 5 but keep seeing top 4 mentioned? It doesn't matter other than the top 5 will give me more of a chance of actually contributing lol. |

I was talking to Langdon and he said it would be top-4 for sure. |

Regardless of whether an image of yours "makes the cut" in a given week or not, your "contribution to the team" is defined as much (if not more) by your participation in the team thread with feedback and idea-bouncing between all your teammates. THIS is the real value of TPL: if everyone participates actively with honest feedback the team is a success regardless of its won-lost record at the end of the season :-) |

Why? It was 4 before when we had 7-member teams in Season 1, and increased to 5 with 10-member teams Season 2. Why would you want to see the pressure ratcheted up this time to 5-of-7 when one of the great things about this season is that it's bringing a lot of new members into competition. It's great that they can get their chops in without worrying that they are letting their team down :-) 5-of-7 would heavily sway the advantage towards the several teams that have coalesced around a group of solid, proven heavy hitters... |

| Our team has pretty much remained the same since the very first Team Polska days, sadly we have lost one or two but generally we are the same eastern block giants that we have always been. :) |

I've been on some where I'm the top dog, and I've been on teams where I'm the bottom of the barrel. Never once have I been on a team where it was the same people each week scored. I believe that everyone in every team I've been on has had scores count. The biggest problem we had was when people weren't entering. With 5 out of 7, if you get someone that quits then you only can have one other person down for the week for illness, vacation,etc. That's when the bad feelings start.
4 of 7 is really nice, because you can also feel more free to enter what you want. Our team has said from the beginning that we're there to learn from each other and have fun. But sometimes it gets stressful and you think you should enter the popular photo instead of the one you really love. This gives you more freedom to comfortably experiment. :)

Top 4 is fine. So long as everybody's participating every week there should be a chance to count because the same people don't ribbon all the time.
That said, nothing is going to count if people don't start voting.
Can we please have an encouraging word from SC about the need to vote during competition! |
