In many cases it is shown, but just from recent challenges out of the 3 winners of the user portrait challenge only 1 shows settings (aperture, iso, exp. time) while for sports IV none. Even without further explanations this info is quite valuable for peers who want to learn.
I think, it would be good to make it uniform to display these basic values at least for the winners.
...Actually,this relates to BrennanOB's post but trying to be more minimalistic. What I suggest here is reinforcing an already existing
feature and the info is asked by the site council for the verification of the winner photos anyway.

| I totally agree with this idea! It wouldn't hurt to also require a brief blurb about their equipment setup.......learning is a huge part of this site, and this would be invaluable knowledge. |

The automated feature isn't automated for challenge entries. And it's also not asked for for validation. It's just included with the exif data that is intact on the photo. I do think the idea holds water. And I did add the data to my ribbon winner on Sports.

You are right, I have deleted the word "automated" from the original post.

| You know, in the past I've made the same complaint and now I'm fairly guilty of it. I'll take sure to put info and details on my ribbons. Oh wait, I haven't ribboned in over a year. Well, if I ever do, I'll make sure to add good details for you. :) |

Well, actually I wouldn't mind to expand this to the top 10 instead of just the ribbon winners...:)) |
