Edit 2 It just occurred to me that maybe I should have cropped out those unrelated drivers.

Going backwards a bit here.

I have limited stuff to work on at the moment, so here is another from the same batch.

This is the first thing I've put in since my big disaster. My computer died 7 weeks ago but now I've got a new one. It's going to take forever to get everything back on, and some stuff's gone forever.

Yes! I am back on track. I abandoned my last photo to edit because, well, it just wasn't all that interesting. Here is my new, #9 (instead of week 9):

I will...very soon...I finally got caught up on a lot of things. In fact, I had my first submission in months (freestudy).

Anybody else still here? Oh well, run it up the flagpole and see if anyone salutes...
An edit of a snapshot from '05 and my 2Mp point & shoot.

A bored rush hour shot out the car window in 2006. Looks a little more like a painting now, but considering there was not a huge amount of detail to start with, I'm pleased with it.

Catching up. Another 2Mp shot from '03, and my first effort with Photoshop Elements instead of PaintShop Pro. Also used some Topaz Adjust.

Another pic that I previously could not do anything with. Lots of noise and backlit. Shot with a 2Mp P&S, in '03

I've been distracted, but I'm still in this one. Finding some neat stuff I had forgotten about. It's interesting coming back to these pictures now with a different eye on them. This is from back in '03, with a 2 MP Konica P&S. This session on my parent's land in the Catskills was some of the best shots I ever got with that camera. I gave it away about a year ago to an acquaintance that couldn't afford a new camera.

Sorry, there was a time when I thought I was the only one still going here, and now I've been MIA for weeks. I'm glad more of you are keeping it going and I'll get into it again now.

Another re-edit of a shot I'd already processed, again using Topaz, only perhaps a bit much....

I re-edited a shot I'd already edited, rather than one I'd not looked at before. Used Topaz Adjust to see if it provided a better "look" to the shot.

Here's the original, the original edit, the Topaz version, and a monochrome version.
