Congrats with your wonderful series! It always sounds so easy: "posting 1 image a week". In my opinion it's harder than posting 1 image a day.

I have to agree with you about primes (I love my 85mm 1.8), that 50mm is gorgeous.

Glad you are back!!!

I have been practicing with my new nifty fifty, I am so used to zoom lenses but I am finding out primes are not so bad and the details are just beautiful!
I also brought an 80-20 bouncer to put on my flash so I am starting to dig deeper and learn more about lighting and how that all works together, the tutorials I am watching are just confusing me more.. urgh, what is weird there are times my camera must be set on the shutter speed of 1/180 to go off and then used it last night and it was 1/250 and it went off. I don't get it lol now I am able to use two flashes for my macro and I love it!

Of course back in macro land I am really loving the details that this little baby pulls off!
I really love it for my animal shelter photos! Sorry about the watermarks they were already sized for web and fb hahaah

I have been MIA from this thread for a long while now... had some health issues and work stress and well now I'm finally taking and editing photos again. Playing with light: Textures, Reflections, and the Sunset on 11-17-15.

Not an outstanding photograph but just want to share this rainbow/halo that I saw this morning. It disappeared really quickly so I only managed to get a few shots - none, sadly that show it at its best. IF anyone can shed light (excuse the pun) on how they form I'd be really interested.
