Another announcement of MORE Generosity given!
 jmritz, John, has generously re-gifted his gift membership back into the fund saying that he'd rather it go to someone else! What a generous gift!

Me too, this is the feeling I use to get as everything was readied for Christmas eve. I am excited for those who get and those who give. I am excited for the ones who watches the spilling over of goodwill.

Please, everyone, let smardaz,  JulietNN, or me LydiaToo know when you hear of someone who needs a hand or want to tell us of someone who should be recognized for one reason or another (and tell us why, please).

This is a true reflection of the DPC that I know... It is much, much more than simply a venue for photographic challenges.
Thank you docpjv for initiating this truly wonderful undertaking,and thank you to smardaz, JulietNN. and LydiaToo for taking care of the logistics.
I am ever so glad I renewed my membership... This community rocks.

Jason, Lydia and I have many exciting plans for this Trust fund. We are blessed that the three of us work so exceeding well and there are not too many chef's in the kitchen so to speak.
We have garnered about 20 memberships to hand out so far. We will also be offering a little wonderful special with some of these too. Our small team is bursting with living, exciting life giving memberships to come each month. |

| Thanks Peter, I am happy to keep working with Juliet and Lydia. This has really come together beautifully and organically, one good vibe leads to another it seems. We are considering several categories and I think we have a nice mix. |

JUlietNN is short of memory so she forgot to mention she will also donate 5-10, yes 10, UBUNTU Scholarship Prizes, not handouts.
The flame of goodwill, sharing and rewarding has been lit. And trust me, UBUNTU HEAD (Jason, JulietNN and Lydia) already mulling many other things that can be done to draw people in to enjoy the spirit of being a photographer.
Langdon, watch this space. We the people will make life beautiful and fun again. We can, because we want! |

Lets get a list of under 25s that never had a membership but suck with us for 2 years plus. A second list of the older members without membership and a few years here doing good to the membership. And obviously; whenever a person with roots in this community has temporally tripped but deserve to be given a hand, we should know. DPC-UBUNTU should benefit at least.
1; provide opportunities to learn on site ie the young and new with clear talent and social responsibility,
2; Should any person worthy through effort or artistic merit be identified and
3; Obviously a long standing member having a tough life
In addition, The committee of Jason JulietNN and Lydia should be having the right to honor Posthumus, the Bear, Wawendy and whoever they deem worthy with a position in the UBUNTU Kraal. Jason, this is your baby, run with it, Your integrity is beyond questioning unless you want to Bear to chair this fund (Not a gift fund nor a handout!).
We keep it soft and easy and unofficial. We must have on person receiving the gift certificates and keep record of who benefited.
In fact, I will give at least one membership, once a month for you to allocate to any of the 3 categories of newbies with positive potential, the oldies with positive potential and finally the Bravehearts that has to fight for staying in their beloved DPC.
May UBUNTU become a beacon of hope, not a handout, but something that must be deserved and used. Thanks RaY, already the flame is flickering higher.
