me, too. cracked a 5 for about 20 minutes a few days ago, then slid back down. my PW since two stinkers in March.

Well, there are nice images in every challenge. IMO this challenge did not produce too many imaginative pictures. We could all do better. Perhaps because it summer TIME? Far too many clocks and watches and we all know that time is money already. Perhaps we can't be brilliant all the TIME. |

| Watched the last few votes come in throughout the day...had a great set of 7 earlier averaging 6.8571 but as usual the trend turned ugly... the next 7 averaged 4.2857...just about thinking about calling it quits in my 10th year...it's not the same site anymore..something vitriol going on...not good...something too adolescent. |

This is very close to my current overall average, so I can't complain. However, one of the four comments did an excellent job of pointing out an easily corrected problem with the image. Unfortunately, that means now every time I glance at the thumbnail on my home page the error glares at me and I cringe. I have learned my lesson from this challenge, can we move on?

Quite disappointed really. I'd like to think it's an OK shot, so altho I'm not getting DNMC comments I have a feeling I'm copping a bit of that in the voting. Just goes to reinforce my belief that I'm never goint to able to predict which of my entries will do OK and which will bomb. Cest la vie. |
