Welcome to this week's "Member of the Week" post. Every week I will post the name of a member and a link to their profile. This will be our Member of the Week. Go have a look at their profile page and/or portfolio. Enjoy their photos, leave some comments and most of all post one or two of their photos in this thread so others can see them and enjoy them. If you like you can also write a little blurb saying why you enjoy this member's photos.

This week's Member of the Week is Steve Hill, pawdrix. And here are a couple of his photos.

Excellent choice. An exemplar of street photography.

Just a couple of my favorites...

Agreed, Steve is an excellent choice. He happens to be my favorite photographer that doesnt use Canon :)

Steve's been a huge inspiration to me, and his advice to me has proved invaluable. If I can achieve half of what he does, I'll be very happy.

So many to choose from, I can pick them out all day. Here's a sampling of what I love about Steve's work...

And the man knows Cecil Taylor personally. How cool is that?

Congrats, Steve!!

Oh, I LOVE his work! I think photos like this have a museum look quality. In fact, we have some hanging in our office that belong to our owner who he purchased from a museum, and I think Steve's is even more striking:

Awesome choice! I love viewing his portfolio and seeing all that he sees as he walks the big city streets.

He does some great work in a genre I enjoy, but am uncomfortable with doing myself. I faved this one of his just last night:

Yeah, he's not bad. :-)

In addition to the cute animal shots, I hear he's decent at the street stuff.

Strictly cat's and dogs...and one pig..oh, and one squirrel...and a rat.

That's probably as cute as any rat shot will ever get.lol

I just noticed the other day that I do have a lot of animal shots for a city dweller.

Again, thanks for the views, comments and the faves guys. It's nice to know I've made a few connections.
Cheers!
