So instead of just having a "street photography" challenge, what about picking a topic? In a small town, there's not nearly as interesting street photography as there is in New York, for instance.
However, it could be a lot of fun just going out and looking for particular things. We could maybe pick a topic once a month. It would be like creating a DPC photo essay with all of us as contributors, except in an actual challenge.
Sample topics:
1. Alone in a crowd
2. The Leader
3. Emotions
4. The shopper
What do you think? Feel free to post challenge ideas here. |

Interesting idea, Wendy, I like it. However, I think no matter what the topic is, New York will have an advantage over a small American town. Unless the topic is "nothing much happening" ;) |
