The former 5th place finisher in "Original Artwork" has been disqualified for failure to provide an original in a timely manner. Congrats to our new honorable mention!

Got home from eclipse and son college drop off incredibly sick and ended up in bed all day.

Sorry for the delay. Congrats to the new 5th place!

Hopefully I'll be back on my feet today, because I was sorry to have missed the playground challenge. That would have been fun. Stupid inner ear thing that makes it horrid to move without getting really dizzy and wanting to throw up.

I hate vertigo. Hope you feel better soon. Get Bonine. Really helps.

Did you email SC and ask for more time?

I hope you're on the mend, friend.

Haven't tried bonine. I've tried a bunch of stuff in the past, but it's been awhile. Nothing much helped, so I just lie around feeling sick. It would be worth giving it a shot. :)

I did when I realized that I went out of town. There's an understandable limit to how long I can put it off. And Bear has been understanding when I screwed up again recently. It was definitely time. And I probably wouldn't have been able to get it in today, either. I'm at a cardiologist appt and very green around the gills. Jeff had to drive me.

Life happens. Mark's was more artistic anyway. :)

I just want to start feeling human, because the new camera came today. It's not fair having it sit in a box !

I have problems with vertigo. Something that runs in my family and I've taken all sorts of medicine that mostly puts me to sleep. Someone told me or I read it somewhere to lie down on the floor close your eyes and as fast as you can roll from one side to the other for about 2-3 minutes. I know it sounds funny and probably looks even funnier but it works for me most of the time.

It's not actually vertigo. It's a damaged inner ear that acts up more with migraines. So there not the crystals that you can rearrange. But I do shake my head back and forth sometimes, because you do get really tense trying hard not to move. And even though the head shaking makes you feel more sick, it helps in the long run.

It's just kind of a dumb thing. You feel really crappy for a couple of days and then life goes back to normal. I'm actually sitting up with a laptop. So it's coming around. Thanks, guys!

Now I have to switch back to another thread, because I'm starting to explore the new camera!
