The wheel scrolling on my mouse used to work on all sites. Now it works on all sites except DPC.

Is it just me? Or is it happening to others, too?

Mine works. Dpc just doesn't like that you went on a great vacation and didn't take us! :P

If that is true, then why did it still work the other 37-ish times she's done that to us in the last couple of years?

It had happened to me a couple of time where the wheel works on all but DPC. Generally, closing and reopening my browser gets it working again. If that doesn't work try rebooting.

Not just you. Not all of DPC for me but occasionally a page just will not scroll. In that case, opening the page in a new tab always restores functionality. I've just been noticing this lately, like the past few days.

This happened to me recently too. Like the others, I just had to close the tab and re-open a new one.

Mine isn't working. I've refreshed and opened new tabs a few times. Still not working. Not that I care too much since I am at work and shouldn't be scrolling through DPC... But here I am... O_O

Full browser close and open in that case. Failing that, system reboot (but that's a bit drastic. heh).

I just refreshed my browser and scrolled right past that, Ken. :D

Brief online search reveals you are not the only person to experience episodes of mouse wheel failing to scroll on certain web sites. Some reports point to particular browsers being the problem In one case, watching a video on a site captured the "focus" of the mouse wheel and left scrolling was disabled until the person clicked on another part of the web page to regain focus. One case reported scrolling worked after disabling JavaScript. One case reported scrolling resumed after changing from a magnified zoom setting to a less magnified view. Another case using Internet Explorer found that unchecking "allow smooth scrolling" in options made the mouse wheel scrolling work again. A technical support suggestion for IE was to go to options and "reset" IE (button on Advanced tab of options), then reboot the computer, which worked for some users. Others found that disabling browser add-ins seemed to help.

Entertaining to see so many examples and so many different solutions. I did not find any good diagnostic steps to suggest.

Meanwhile, I just visited DPC using Internet Explorer 11, then Firefox, then Microsoft Edge, and then Chrome. Mouse wheel scrolling worked for me in each of these browsers. Maybe someone else can provide actual help.

Scrolling, scrolling, scrolling on the river

If you say so, sure; it's more your genre than mine innit?

Well, I'm a pessimist -- I think it will only work consistently when pigs fly or the dead see scrolls ...
