My expertise is more in writing than speaking but sounds like that base is covered. If any of my pics are useful please feel free. I can't wait to see this!!!

Am in some kind of a turmoil but if you need any of my images use them. Can't wait for the result! Good luck to all.

Sure, I'll play, or perhaps Grog will. If anything from my portfolio suits, you are welcome to use it. Especially if it involves Godzilla.

Photos may be used with full abandon!
12/06/2012 12:33:06 PM · #30
Certainly do what you wish with my images, and voice (camp english) if required.
12/06/2012 12:35:57 PM · #31
I'd be happy to contribute images or voice if needed- this should be fun to see :)

My voice is nothing special but I think I can figure out how to record it on some device or another. And feel free to steal use anything from my portfolio. You can even add Godzillas ;-) As long as the Godzilla is suitably festive, in accordance with the holiday theme.

Hope you are writing a very long poem ...

Dear Artful Person: feel free to use anything in my portfolio, and I dare you to make hilarious what is already ridiculous. I would love to record but have no idea how, though I suspect the ingredients are here.

A number of people in here sound unsure about the technicalities of recording, so let me share my very limited wisdom on the subject:

Here is a lovely little tutorial for Windows computers.

If that doesn't do it, simply Google "voice recording", there are tons of options.

No mic? If you have a laptop, it is built in already. If you don't have a mic, its about time you got yourself a little headset, anyway, right?

I am no expert at this, but have played around with some Karaoke stuff in the past, so if you need any help, I'd be happy to try and help.

Thanks Karin! Yeah, it's not that difficult and it doesn't have to be perfect quality. File formats ideally would be .wav or .mp3, but I could probably convert quicktime or other common file formats.

That is going to be the longest bloody poem in history with all these people. Maybe a itsy bitsy small idea, maybe, is to write more than 1 poem.

But it has probably been said in earlier post's that I failed to read, as I am too busy tieing stockings and Spiderman underwear on dogs.

And Yes, Ken, thank you for asking me, I would be privileged to throw you an accent or 10. Possibly after a couple of G&T's you could use my, Southern-Queens English-somewhat of an Aussie-NY accent. I can throw that one in for free hehehehhehehe

Luv ya man, and I really think this is totally a wonderful project, I canna wait to see the end product , it will be EPIC!

If you need some Polish accent I'm in I guess :)
12/06/2012 07:20:43 PM · #38
My port is free reign :) Anything else you need I will do what I can.
12/06/2012 07:27:36 PM · #39
Thanks Juliet. I've been assured it will be long enough. If not, I'll just append the manuscript for my alien abduction story that I have been working on for several years (working title: "50 shades of grays"). :P I'm not gonna ask about the spiderman underwear - I'll wait for you to post the story and photos after the police finish their investigation.

A Polish-Texas accent will be awesome, Beata. ;-)

Well, it is simple really Ken,

I took out my MGB today, The Pug ((((((((not mine)))))))))))) was not cool enough to ride with me, so to make him feel more manly I made them look like Super Hero's when I picked up Charlie from school. So the 120 pound dog got a towel cape and Spiderman underwear over his head with his ears sticking out of the leg holes, the pug ((((((((((who is not mine)))))))))))) got 3D Madagascar sunglasses and black lace stockings, for aerodynamics ,wind speed and tucked into his collar. I had one good contact that vagualy was in focus, with eye make up, SpongeBob PJ pants and a cowboy hat, so I was Captain Wax meltey face.

IT is very very simple Ken, get with the bloody program. You are sooooooo gonna lose out to me for Parent of the Year!

Feel free to use my voice, but also feel free to cut me if you already have too many speakers. My portfolio is available to you.
12/06/2012 08:22:24 PM · #42
Thanks Ben.

Juliet: I said I was not going to ask, but since you told it all makes perfect sense and sounds like it played out exactly as I imagined it would. Except there were no police. And if by "Parent of the Year" you mean "not guilty by reason of insanity" then you may be right, but I'll give you a run for your money.
