I have the sudden urge to go buy a hammer

It was pretty funny, but as a builder I have about 8 different hammers each one for a particular purpose, some more expensive than a Canon 50mm 1.8 II, and am a whole lot more fussy about the hammer I use than lens I slap on the front of my camera. I have never had a telephoto cause a flareup of my carpal tunnel or slip off a nail head and crush my finger. And yes, a jobsite lunchtime conversation about why a particular hammer is better than another sounds exactly like lens talk here with personal experience and preference passing as documented fact.

If you walked onto a jobsite with a $12 craftsman 16 oz curved claw, everyone on the job would know that you were not a carpenter. You carry an Estwing 12 oz straight claw with the leather handle, or the Dalluge 22 oz waffle face with a custom ground neck, well then, we know what kind of a carpenter you are and what kind of work you probably do best. Tools don't make the man, but they sure do express what it is they plan on doing.

Lol...I just noticed the update saying that Amazon is now sold out of the $220 hammer. :)
