So many 1's. Someone is in a foul mood. I expect them to make it over to the sibling challenge soon enough.

Maybe, just maybe, I'm hoping a couple of confused folks are just voting backwards... (yeah right.) :)

I'm starting to suspect that the voters are voting this as "Outdoors looking Indoors"... Can't figure out any other reason I'd be getting 3's and fours in piles..

Wow. Tough crowd. But based on the scores posted, maybe this will ribbon! I just tuned in so I don't know how it was doing early on.

OK- voted. I started off having some questions on a couple as to whether they were actually "from the outside looking in" or "from the inside looking out" particularly if there was a figure in it. I decided that it depends on your perspective. The person in the photo may be looking out- but on the other hand, the photographer, and the viewer in turn, is on the outside looking in. I did go back and re-adjust my scoring on those. There were some I did have serious questions about whether they fit the challenge or not and did give a lower score to those based on my opinion of not fitting the category- though some were some nice photos. There were certainly a lot of different takes on the topic which was fun to see and go through. Thanks to those who took the time to enter and thanks in advance to those who have or will vote.

You have rated 61 of 61 images (100%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 48 of 61 images (79%) in this challenge.

You have given an average score of 5.7377.

I complete agree with you. My English is not that good but I can fairly understand what " Capture the view of looking in from the outside" means. The challenge is about the VIEW what you see with your camera, not some person looking somewhere and you MUST be looking into something with your camera! for an example take a picture of the view through a keyhole, the view of the inside of an empty bottle etc. Haven't managed to see all the images or vote yet but I can see a lot of outside images looking outside...for example a landscape...or people staring at a landscape. That doesn't make any sense. No matter how great an image is I think the voters should start from the question...Does it fit the contest? I mean it's like you're are sending a photo where healthy and fit people are running, for a contest that says "Help the people with disabilities" Even a if the photo is a true masterpiece only someone THAT DIDN'T READ THE CONTEST DETAILS would give 10 to that.

I think I'm done with DPC. Thanks for all the hate and endless trolls.
Good luck to you all. I'll still probably enter some, but I no longer look at the site.
Clearly this is a place for hurt and unhappy people to spread their misery to others.
And there I was thinking it was a fun supportive group of artists and creative types.
When a blue ribbon scores in the 6's (which is a "F"- failing grade) you know the trolls run the site.

Comments: 1 ...I'm glad that the one only commenter could really perceive my photo. It does fit the challenge but still it is scoring low, not of my best photos but oh well better luck next time. And it's not about scoring high, it's about making a portfolio of images that you're truly proud of. Maybe this is one of my lowest scoring images but I don't plan quiting. Can't wait to get a debit card, so I can fully experience dpc!

and my voting...

You have commented on 28 images (45%) in this challenge.

Ya know Amsterdan, when I saw the 4+ score on my picture this morning I thought the same thing. I knew immediately that it was a low score because of someone reading too much into the rules, then I read this thread and I see that I was correct. I know it's not the greatest shot, but Really people? You pick apart the rules so much that everyone suffers.
I almost didn’t enter this challenge because I knew it would get hit whichever one I chose. That defeats the whole purpose of this site…that’s pretty sad.

You have rated 62 of 62 images (100%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 5 images (8%) in this challenge.
You have given an average score of 6.5000.
