Hi all

I'm taking a break from raging controversy over WWII fighter plane monuments to let you know I've got four shots hanging in the National Theatre at the moment (until Jan 14th). They're part of the Take A View competition, sponsored by Epson, the AA and the Sunday Times, in which I was a runner-up. There are some amazing images on display and it's well worth a visit (even if you don't see mine!). I believe taht the mighty AlexSaberi was a runner-up in the same category last year. (2009 winners).

Here are some links if you're interested:

The competition book is available here.

My flickr gallery of the entries.

Well that's it for now, so I'll put down the trumpet and catch my breath. Hopefully, I'll even muster up some time to shoot for a challenge again soon...

All the best
Jon

PS. check out the winner, Anthony Spencer's flickr stream. It shows his winning shot was no fluke...

Congrats, Jon. That Crossings shot is certainly an attention-grabber.

And yes, I'd have to agree with you on Anthony Spencer. That's a hell of a landscape portfolio he's got there.

Congrats on your result. Some inspiring shots out there. I feel yours have more of an individual style whereas many of the others although very attractive are somewhat generic.

Thanks for all the support here, as ever.

I'm afraid however, that my Dad died yesterday, so Christmas is a bit strange this year.

Happy Christmas to all and a positive, prosperous new year.
